Vinit Bodas is the CIO, President, and Founder of Deccan Value, a Connecticut-based investment management firm.
Vinit Bodas has over 30 years of investment experience, managing investments in U.S., International, and Emerging Markets, and has invested in over 30 countries. Prior to Deccan Value, Mr. Bodas worked as an analyst, portfolio manager, and team leader at various firms on the East and West coasts of the U.S. In 2004, Vinit Bodas founded Deccan Value where he serves as the President and Chief Investment Officer.
Vinit Bodas guides Deccan Value’s investment strategies with a long-term approach and a focus on an in-depth analysis of investments, that results in 2-3 investment decisions a year. Deccan has a very concentrated investment portfolio with 5-10 positions. Under his leadership, Deccan firmly believes in proper incentive alignment through selection of clients, restricting the capital base and a fair fee structure.
